Refund Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Our legal obligations to you

Your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 are not affected by this policy. Where content is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.

Digital courses delivered instantly

Our courses are digital content delivered online and can be accessed immediately. Supporting guides can be downloaded. Because access and downloads are instant, the cancellation and refund rules below apply.

Your 14-day cancellation right and when you lose it

You normally have 14 days to cancel a distance purchase. However, under regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, your right to cancel digital content ends once delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right to cancel. You give that consent and acknowledgement by agreeing to our Terms at checkout.

This means: if you have not yet accessed (opened) any lesson and have not downloaded any supporting guide, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

Courses are non-refundable once accessed

Once you access (open) any lesson video or lesson content, or download any supporting guide, or generate a completion certificate, the course is non-refundable. This applies even if you only access a single lesson or download a single file, and regardless of how much or how little you go on to complete.

If you purchased a bundle, accessing any lesson or downloading any guide from any course in the bundle makes the whole bundle non-refundable.

Non-completion, change of mind and results are not grounds for a refund

We do not offer refunds where you change your mind, decide you no longer want the course, run out of time, fail to complete it, or are dissatisfied with your results. Our courses teach writing methods and frameworks; they do not guarantee any particular grade or outcome, and not achieving a particular result is not a ground for a refund.

Your only statutory right to cancel is the 14-day right described above, and it ends the moment you access any lesson or download any guide.

If the content is faulty or not as described

If a course is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described, and we cannot put it right, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please email us with details of the issue.
